Connecting Counselors

ConnectingCounselors

Our first Connecting Counselors program was on Wednesday, April 10. Connecting Counselors is a complimentary networking program for educators in southeast Wisconsin. Middle and high school counselors have the opportunity to learn about one new post-secondary program/degree available to students that supports the in-demand industries of manufacturing, construction, health care and information technology. The “speed networking” format allows counselors to meet with an array of post-secondary institutions for 5-10 minutes each and walk away with a handful of new programs/degrees to better inform their students’ future plans.

Educators from Arrowhead High School, School District of New Berlin, Muskego-Norway School District, Waukesha School District, School District of Kettle Moraine, Concordia University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Waukesha County Technical College and Herzing University were in attendance.

The Alliance will host four programs per school year, with two in the fall and two in the spring.

If you are a university/college or school district and want more information, please contact Robyn Ludtke, rludtke@waukesha.org.
