One of the Alliance’s Infrastructure policy intiatives is continuing to advance fiscally sound and efficient communities, provided in a seamless and cost-effective manner. Specifically, this includes supporting the continued advancement of municipal service consolidation. The Alliance is looking forward to reviewing the results of the Waukesha County Fire and Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Feasibility Study and advocating solutions that continue to advance our communities.

“The results of this study answer a question I asked at the beginning of this process,” said Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow. “‘Is there a better way to provide the same or greater level of service to our citizens while becoming more efficient?’ The answer is ‘yes.’ Following the recommendations presented in this study will allow our local fire departments to improve their response time while cutting costs by sharing resources, without giving up their independence as local fire departments.”
