COVID-19 Vaccine Update

COVID-19-CC-Header

Last week, The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) released its initial recommendations for Phase 1B vaccination, which included the definition of essential personnel who will be prioritized to access the vaccine. Many businesses were surprised to see that these recommendations defined “essential worker” in a much different way than we saw this spring during the “Safer at Home” order.

While the public comment period has now closed, the Alliance submitted comments on behalf of our members to advocate for prioritizing essential critical infrastructure workers as the state moves through the vaccine process. We will keep you informed of any updates to the vaccination process as they become available.

To address questions regarding vaccines, both the Waukesha County-specific distribution as well as employer best practices and recommendations, the Alliance will host a complimentary webinar on Monday, February 1.
