Partnering with Waukesha County schools

We know that every day, our schools are doing more and more to partner with business. We too, are expanding our efforts in the area of K-12 relationships, business and education partnerships, workforce development and supporting districts in their academic and career planning work. In recent years, this work has increased dramatically. We’re excited that for the 2018-19 school year, 12 school districts in Waukesha County have committed to work with the Alliance to take these efforts to the next level.

Alliance Submits Comments to EPA on Proposed Nonattainment Designation

Yesterday, the Alliance submitted comments to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regarding a proposed nonattainment designation for Waukesha County. 2018 Workforce Development Strategy

The number one concern we hear from the business community is workforce. In a survey we conducted in 2017, 67% of businesses in Waukesha County report finding a skilled workforce to be the primary challenge they face when starting or growing their business. It’s time for us to address that.
