    Located on N. Grand Avenue across from the Carroll University football field, Au bon Pain Café Bakery has been serving up delicious and healthy options since it opened in Waukesha in September of 2011. Au bon Pain, translated to “of good bread” or “place of good bread” in French is a café bakery which specializes the freshest of breakfast pastries and creations with a selection of signature coffees, and a range of soups, salads and delicious sandwiches. Au bon Pain offers free Wi-Fi, indoor and outdoor seating, and serve both the university and the community.

    Menu Items

    Everything from their bakery is made fresh daily, including; muffins; Danish; croissants; bagels; cookies; strudels; rolls; and breads. Au bon Pain features a menu selection of house salads with signature dressings, hot and cold sandwiches, fruit and coffee smoothies and frozen drinks, and specialty coffee drinks. Au bon Pain also has select menu items for vegetarians and vegans and is currently working to expand its gluten free options. Au bon Pain introduces new and exciting menu selections and a rotation specialty soups and stews to coincide with the changing of the season, from their bakery options to the salads and sandwiches!

    Focus on Healthy Dining

    Au bon Pain prides itself on being at the forefront of the “Fast Casual” dining scene, leading the movement with healthy options and alternatives for its customers. Every menu item has a calorie count, and the café also features a nutrition Kiosk that allows patrons to build their plate beforehand to check calories and percentages and even ingredients for those with allergens.
