Leadership Waukesha classes begin on Monday, August 30, 2010 and will meet every other Monday from 3:25 - 7:00 p.m. During this time, participants will enhance their leadership skills and learn ways to use these skills in professional and volunteer capacities.

Tuition:
Leadership Waukesha is a non-profit leadership development program funded by tuition and fees. Tuition of $1000 for Chamber members, $1250 for non-Chamber members covers speaking fees, program materials and other expenses. It is recommended that the student pay $100 of the $1000 fee to demonstrate a commitment to the program. Participants are responsible for individual transportation.

Congratulations to Leadership Waukesha XXI!Leadership Waukesha, a program dedicated to growing men and women who live and work in the greater Waukesha County area, graduated its twenty-first class on Monday, May 3rd, 2010.
The Waukesha County Chamber of Commerce has established Leadership Waukesha as an outstanding leadership development program. Effective leadership is a key element in any successful community. Continually developing and encouraging the participation of new leaders is essential in developing fresh ideas and perspectives and ensuring a continuity of leaders for the future. The Leadership Waukesha program is said to be a contributor to the success of over 300 area leaders who are Leadership Waukesha graduates.
The class is adapted every year to reflect the changing needs and trends of today’s business world. One need only take a glance at the class topics to realize the personal and professional value of Leadership Waukesha. The seven month course concluded with presentations and an elegant dinner at Weissgerber's Seven Seas Restaurant in Hartland.

One way that the class incorporates community service is through group projects with local non-profit organizations. This year’s projects included “City of Waukesha Economic Development Marketing Tool” with the City of Waukesha, “Hunger is Universal” with the Food Pantry of Waukesha County, “City of Waukesha Strategic Plan Goal #7” with the City of Waukesha, “Dental Clinic Outreach to Patients and Referral Sources” with Waukesha County Community Dental Clinic, “Movin' On UP” with Easter Seals Waukesha Center, "Community Shredding Day" with the Waukesha County Chamber of Commerce and "Second Chance Partners for Education Student Leadership Council" with Second Chance Partners for Education.
